It's obvious isn't it? My friend Abe Gurko and I discuss his ridiculous video. Bill Shatner doesn't know what he's talking about but given that he's 80; is i...

Comment by JustTrekkingAlong on November 15, 2011 at 8:11am Shatner is A$$ sorry to say. I am reading his latest book, and compared to that Whoppie's book and Bill Cosby's book they both are pritty sarcastic , mind you educational , but much more entertaining. Shatner is trying to be funny in his own little way, and so is SHE . But they both really can not campare Star Wars and Star Trek. Star Trek inspired allot os science fiction to follow, and I belive Star Wars was one of them. Without Star Wars, she would not have a job. : ) I feel like I have waisted my time and $$ on Shatners book, though I like his Trek Wars series. Then again , he WAS Kirk. And Kirk is Kirk.
Comment by Vice Admiral Baxter on November 15, 2011 at 6:32am Well you know me and my fondness for TREK. I think she is being sarcastic on purpose because Shatners video was done in good fun from his point of view.
Comment by JustTrekkingAlong on November 13, 2011 at 8:46pm I dont know.....both movies ( TV) productions were quite good, Star Wars did not have a TV series untill much later and then it was not even a REAL life series , ( Clone Wars ) it is computer generated. And Star Trek outfits on women were quite thin like Pincess Lea's outfit. There were some creative huminoid creatures in both and sunsets and planets ??? STAR TREK had the coolest planet settings, but Star Wars had the coolest space, grafic and fighting visuals. We have to remember , Science Fictions was barly out of diapers when Star Trek came along. Star Wars movies came out when computers were used to do more of the visual settings. Star Trek movies improved way before the new set of Star Wars movies came out telling Aniken's story. Vulcan and Jedi have so much in common. Darth Vadaer compares to Khan!! Both were out for some kind of revenge of one kind or another , With both being very evil at the center of thier hearts. There are so many simularities in both stories that who knows, Lucas may have even been inspired by Star Trek! Bottom line, both are equal in story line and visuals . When the new Star Wars movie came out , I enjoyed all three and when the New Star Trek movie came out just recently , it felt at home.
